How long does it take?
It depends on what you need, and we will be straight with you about your project rather than quoting a number that suits us. If you need to be live inside a week, that can be done, and the site grows from there. Most projects run two to four weeks, because where the scope allows we would rather spend the extra time planning and get it right from the beginning than rush the build and unpick it later.
Why build in code rather than on a website builder?
Two reasons. There is no ceiling: builders are fine until you need something they don't do, and then the answer is usually that you have to rebuild somewhere else. And it is genuinely yours, rather than rented from a platform. The honest trade is that code is not drag-and-drop simple to run day to day, which is exactly what the ongoing plan covers.
Can I update it myself?
We handle changes for you. With a business website plan, we agree a batch of updates each month, which can include additional pages. Ongoing development plans include more frequent work and priority support. Changes to an entry-level one-page site are quoted separately. If you want to publish content yourself, we can scope an editor as part of your project.
What happens if I want to leave?
You take everything with you. Your domain is in your name, the content is yours, and you have had access to the code and hosting since day one. If you move on you get thirty days of hosting while you go, a full export, and a straight conversation about the code. Nothing is designed to make leaving difficult.
What happens after launch?
We stick around. Hosting, security, backups and technical maintenance are included in every monthly website plan. Content updates, additional pages, reporting and strategy depend on the scope you choose. The entry one-page option has no content updates included; larger plans give you an agreed programme of ongoing work.
