What does Charged actually do?
We're a creative studio specialising in websites, software, and digital presence. We work with businesses at every stage, from founders building their identity to established companies ready to grow. Whatever you need to look sharper, get found, and win more customers, we build it.
Do you only work with businesses in Exeter?
Exeter is home, but we work with service businesses right across Devon and the South West (Plymouth, Torquay, Barnstaple, Exmouth, Tiverton and beyond), plus remotely UK-wide. Being local means we understand your customers and your patch; the work itself is delivered wherever you are.
How does the process work?
We keep it simple. It starts with a short conversation to understand your business, goals, and vision. From there we put together a clear proposal and get to work, and you're involved at every key stage, with structured feedback points so nothing gets signed off until it's right.
How much does a website cost?
A one-page site starts from £99 a month with nothing upfront, or from £499 upfront plus required hosting from £49 a month. The entry monthly price includes the build, hosting, security and backups, but no content updates. Larger website plans can include additional pages, monthly updates, reporting and strategy. Hosting is only available for sites we build. Every proposal is tailored to the pages, features and ongoing work you need, with the scope and price agreed before work starts. There is no VAT to add.
Do you host and look after the site after launch?
Yes. Hosting, security, backups and technical maintenance are included in our monthly website plans. For upfront builds, hosting is required and starts from £49 a month. We only host sites we build. Content updates are not included in the entry monthly option or hosting alone; plans for larger sites can include monthly updates, extra pages, reporting and ongoing improvements. We agree the scope, price and terms with you before work starts.
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope, but most website projects are delivered in two to four weeks. We move quickly without cutting corners, and we'll always give you a clear timeline upfront so you know exactly what to expect.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
That rarely happens, because we don't guess. Every project starts with a deep-dive into your vision so we're aligned before anything gets built. If something isn't landing right, you tell us and we refine it. Your satisfaction is the only finish line.
