SEO & Getting Found

Get found by the people already looking for what you do.

Somebody in your area is searching for what you do right now. The only question is whose name comes up. We do the technical foundations, the on-page work and the local search work that decides that, and we tell you in plain English every month what actually changed.

Ranking for the searches that actually bring in work.

A monthly report you can read without a glossary.

The problem

Sound familiar?

Who's ahead of you right now? Most firms have never checked. It usually shows up like this:

The phone rings less than it should, and you cannot say why.

A competitor outranks you, you know exactly who they are, and it is genuinely annoying.

You have a decent site and almost nobody sees it.

You have no idea whether an AI assistant would recommend you to someone in your area.

What we do

Found by the people already searching for you.

Technical foundations

Structure, speed, indexation, schema. The unglamorous work that everything else depends on and that most people skip.

On-page

Titles, headings, content structure and internal linking, on the pages that actually matter rather than all of them at once.

Local search

Google Business Profile set up and actively managed, local terms, and the map pack where most local decisions get made.

AI search visibility

When someone asks an AI assistant to recommend a firm like yours in your area, it gives an answer. Most local businesses have never checked what that answer is. We do, and we build sites these systems can read and cite.

Content

Pages and articles that answer what people are genuinely searching for, rather than padding written for a crawler.

Tracking and reporting

Rankings, traffic, and where enquiries genuinely came from. In plain English, every month, with no jargon standing in for results.

How we work

Research, strategy, build, optimise.

Research

We start with your business, your customers and who you are actually competing against, before anyone opens a design tool.

Strategy

You get the scope, the page list and the plan in writing, agreed before the work starts, so nothing gets discovered halfway through.

Build

Built in code on modern infrastructure, mobile first, with the technical foundations done properly at build time rather than retrofitted.

Optimise

Live is the start, not the finish. It gets measured, maintained and improved every month instead of slowly rotting.

The honest bit

What we don't promise

Search isn't a switch. It's a compounding asset. Three months in it looks like maintenance, twelve months in it's the reason you stopped paying for leads. So:

No paid ads. Different discipline, different budget, and we would rather say so than take the money.

No guaranteed rankings. Nobody can promise a position, and anyone who does is telling you something else that isn't true either.

No quick results. On-page work typically takes four to eight weeks to show any movement, and reviews and local citations do at least as much of the lifting as the site does.

Afterwards

It's a plan, not a project.

Most of what we do is ongoing. Rather than picking a package off a shelf, we put a retainer together around your business: the site hosted, monitored and improved every month, and the search, content and creative work carrying on instead of stopping the day you go live.

You pay for what you actually need, and nothing you don't. There's a minimum term, because we fund real work up front, and it's stated clearly before you sign. Nothing about leaving is designed to be difficult.

You own your business, not a hostage situation.

Your domain, your content, your code, your accounts, from day one. If you ever leave, you take all of it with you.

Live builds, not mockups.

Why it matters

Being invisible in search is not a neutral position. It is a competitor getting the call that should have been yours, every day, quietly, without you ever seeing the enquiry that did not arrive.

The work compounds. The foundations laid now are still earning in two years, which is the opposite of what happens when you stop paying for ads.

Questions

Common questions

How long before I see anything?

Separate the two. The technical wins land quickly: speed, structure and indexation improve as soon as the work ships. Ranking movement is slower. On-page work typically takes four to eight weeks to show anything, and reviews and local citations do at least as much of the lifting as the site itself. Ongoing work compounds from there.

I've been burned by an SEO agency before. Why is this different?

That is extremely common and worth saying out loud. What we do differently is boring: reporting in plain language every month, so you can see what changed and what it did, no jargon standing in for results, and no contract designed to make leaving hard. If it is not working you will hear it from us first.

What is AI search visibility, and does it matter yet?

When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity to recommend a firm like yours in your area, they get an answer. Almost no small firm has checked what that answer is. It matters now because the sites these systems can read and cite are built the same way as sites that rank well, so the work is not separate, it is the same work done properly.

Do I need a new website first?

Sometimes, and we will tell you if so. Search work is limited by the site underneath it. If the foundations are sound we work with what you have; if the site is the actual bottleneck, spending on search first is spending on the wrong thing.

Search work is limited by the site underneath it.
